I am a visual artist based in Helsinki, Finland.

Nowadays I mainly focus on acrylic painting, but in the past I have also worked with video, animation, installations and environmental art.

I originally graduated as a visual artist from Art School MAA in 2016 and now in Spring 2024 from Art School Alfa.

I am a member of following Finnish Art Associations; Yö ry, Suomen Taitelijat ry and Helsingin Taideyhdistys ry. Since 2013, I have participated in numerous group exhibitions in Helsinki and in Blackpool, England. I have had one solo exhibition at Gallery Huvila in Helsinki in Autumn 2016.

My paintings are a mixture of abstraction and geometric. I usually use bright, clean colours, and on the other hand, my works have different shades of grey and black and white. Some of the paintings also contain recognisable elements, such as skulls.

I am inspired by architecture, maps, constructivism, geometric shapes, graphic patterns and symbols, pop art, animal prints, punk/rock/psychobilly aesthetics and tattoos.

I often use skulls as a theme, which symbolise different things for me; alternative cultures, freedom, strength and courage to be yourself and do as you please. On the other hand, for me, a skull also symbolises a house; a structure inhabited by the soul, wisdom and inner self. Skulls are genderless and they look the same for all races, therefore skulls also represent equality, consideration and acceptance of others. Skulls look happy, as they always smile.
